We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Software Development Manager to join our  team in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

Position Overview:  

As a Software Development Manager, you will lead a team of 4 talented developers while also playing  a hands-on role in full-stack Python development. You will be responsible for managing team workflows,  providing technical leadership, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. In addition to your leadership role, you will contribute directly to the development of core applications and  systems. 

This position requires a blend of strong leadership skills and deep technical expertise, along with the  ability to foster a collaborative environment where innovation can flourish. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional software development experience, including significant experience  with full-stack Python development

Responsibilities and Duties

Team Leadership & Management: 

  • Lead and mentor a team of talented developers. 
  • Manage team priorities, project timelines, and individual performance. 
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and results-driven work culture. 
  • Conduct regular code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to  best practices. 
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA) to ensure the successful  delivery of projects. 
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding for new team members as the team grows.

Technical Contribution: 

  • Actively contribute to the development of software solutions using Python, ReactJS and MongoDB
  • Work on both front-end and back-end development tasks, ensuring the seamless  integration of features across the full stack. 
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and databases. 
  • Implement clean, maintainable code while optimizing performance and scalability. 
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software issues. 

Project Management: 

  • Take responsibility for project scoping, scheduling, and deliverables. 
  • Ensure that the development process is smooth and that team members have the  resources and support they need to succeed.
  • Monitor project progress, anticipate potential blockers, and proactively address  challenges to maintain timelines. 

Continuous Improvement: 

  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in  Python development. 
  • Propose and implement improvements to development processes, tools, and  methodologies. 
  • Encourage ongoing learning and development within the team.

Qualifications and Skills

Professional Experience: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience with a strong  focus on Python and full-stack development. 
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role, with a track  record of successfully leading small teams and driving project success. 
  • Hands-on experience with modern web frameworks (e.g. FastAPI) and front-end  technologies (e.g., React). 
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, database design (SQL/NoSQL), and API  design. 
  • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development  methodologies. 

Technical Skills: 

  • Proficiency in Python, including experience with building full-stack applications. 
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end  frameworks such as React or Angular). 
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deployment  strategies. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

We are currently looking for a X-ray Machine Service Technician to join our team in St. Petersburg,  Florida. 

Position Overview:  

As a key part of our technical team, you will ensure the operational efficiency, safety, and performance of  X-ray systems integrated into our cutting-edge security solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 2  years of hands-on experience servicing and maintaining X-ray machines in the field. This role requires  strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working with advanced technologies.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform installation, calibration (if applicable), maintenance, and repair of X-ray machines used in  security and weapon detection applications. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with X-ray systems, including mechanical, electrical, and  software-related problems. 
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on X-ray machines to ensure optimal performance and  reliability. 
  • Ensure that all X-ray machines comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and manufacturer  specifications. 
  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for clients, addressing service requests and  resolving issues in a timely manner. 
  • Assist with the installation and configuration of new X-ray systems and components at customer sites. 
  • Maintain accurate service logs, documenting all maintenance, repairs, and system modifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and R&D teams to improve system performance and integrate new  technologies. 
  • Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of X-ray systems to maximize uptime and  minimize operational disruptions. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in X-ray technology, security systems, and related safety  protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing X-ray machines in the field, with a solid understanding  of X-ray imaging technology, machine operation, and troubleshooting. 
  • Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and equipment used for X-ray systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards, including radiation safety protocols and regulatory  requirements. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex technical issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled technologies or interest in working with cutting-edge tech is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, engineers, and other  team members. 
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Certification in X-ray machine maintenance (e.g., ACR, ASRT) or similar credentials is a plus.

Preferred Skills:  

  • Experience working with advanced security systems, especially AI-enabled systems, is highly  desirable. 
  • Basic understanding of network connectivity and software integration for X-ray systems. • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with a focus on security and  safety solutions.

Xonar Technologies is looking to recruit a Mechanical and Electronics Technician to work on its innovative security surveillance system utilizing sensors, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

The successful candidate will join a team passionately committed to improving the safety and security of sporting arenas, music halls and other public venues.

Responsibilities and Duties

We’re looking for hands-on Mechanical  & Electronics Assembly technician with 3 or move months of experience in supporting various prototyping and / or field deployed industrial products.  

The position will require some evening and occasional weekend work supporting Xonar technologies (possibly at client sites at local music / sporting venues alike)

We are willing to train on site.

Qualifications and Skills

Be able to assembles basic electronic components, sub-assemblies, products, or systems by performing the following duties:

  • Reads basic work orders, follows basic production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in fixture, or other holding device.
  • Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
  • Mounts components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on printed circuit boards.
  • Mounts assembled components.
  • Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies.
  • Works under close supervision from Manufacturing Lead.
  • Is consistently at work and on time. Must adhere to company specified work schedule.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or BA in Engineering preferred. 
  • Three to twelve months of experience and/or training in the electronics field are preferred.
